School & Parent Support (Meeting / Advocacy) -Help to prepare for school conversations
60 minutes | Zoom or telephone
School meetings can feel overwhelming, especially when concerns are dismissed, support remains vague or home and school see very different versions of your child.
This focused consultation helps you organise your concerns, prepare what to say and decide what you need to ask for next.
It may be helpful when you are concerned about:
learning, behaviour or emotional regulation;
ADHD, autism, dyslexia or sensory needs;
anxiety, attendance or reduced timetables;
masking and after-school distress;
inconsistent or unclear SEN Support;
repeated promises to “monitor the situation” without a clear plan.
What we work on
Together, we will:
identify the main concerns and possible barriers;
organise the evidence that matters;
prepare your key questions;
develop clear, professional wording;
consider reasonable adjustments and support;
decide what actions and review dates to request.
This is not about preparing for a battle. It is about entering the conversation calm, focused and clear about what your child needs.
Your package includes
a 60-minute individual consultation;
a clear meeting plan;
questions and wording you can use;
a concise follow-up email confirming priorities and recommended actions;
one 20-minute review call within four weeks.
What you should leave with
You should feel clearer about:
what the main issues are;
what evidence to present;
what to ask school;
what support may be reasonable;
what should be recorded;
what needs to happen next.
Monitoring is not a plan unless everyone knows what is being monitored, how it will be recorded and when it will be reviewed.
Important boundaries
This package does not include attendance at the school meeting, legal representation, diagnosis, a formal report, extensive document review or ongoing email support. Additional sessions, written work or meeting attendance must be agreed and booked separately.
Not sure whether this is the right service? Start with a free 30-minute call.
